Action research is a broad paradigm for scholarly inquiry that offers to practitioners and researchers alike a way of framing and addressing questions about their work. Michael is undertaking a literature review of prominent theories and methods of action research in general and about nonprofit leadership in particular. It is our hope that this will form both the core of Michaels dissertation research as well as shape our practice for the future.
